Checked on release 3.0.74.2 "Accounting for Kazakhstan" (version 3.0).

You have connected an external extension — for example, an additional report from an integrator or a customization for your accounting. After an update or after the extension was disabled, the familiar options suddenly disappeared from the "Report Options" panel, or, conversely, duplicates and "empty" lines appeared. Or when opening the report, a message pops up about a predefined option that "does not exist." You go looking for where it is stored — and end up in the directory "Predefined Report Options of Extensions". The main point is: this is a service directory, not an accounting document. It does not create entries, does not issue electronic invoices (ESF), and does not print acts. Let's figure out what it does and what you can (and cannot) touch.

⚠️ It is important to understand from the very beginning. This object belongs to the "Report Options" subsystem of the standard subsystem library (BSP), not to the accounting framework. Therefore, this guide does not contain sections on VAT 16%, individual income tax (IIT), accounts 1210/3130/6010, etc. — this directory has no relation to taxes and entries. Do not look for money here.

1. Purpose

The directory stores predefined (factory) report options that come from connected configuration extensions. When an extension adds its report with ready-made configured options, the platform registers these options here — so they appear in the general "Report Options" panel alongside standard and user-defined ones. Essentially, this is a "bridge" between reports from extensions and the standard report options mechanism.

2. Where to Find

Ordinary users do not have a menu item for this directory — and that is normal. It can be opened in two ways.

Method 1 — via navigation link (the fastest).

  1. Menu Main → Service (or icon ☰) → Go to navigation link.
  2. Insert the link and click "Go":
    e1cib/list/Directory.PredefinedReportOptionsOfExtensions

Method 2 — through the list of all objects (administrator mode). Functions for technical specialists → section "Standard" / "All Functions" → in the directory tree, find "Predefined Report Options of Extensions". The "All Functions" item is enabled: Service and Settings → Settings → Options → Show the "All Functions" command.

The panel, for which all this exists, is in plain sight: almost every report has a button "Settings" → "Select Report Option" (or "More → Other Options") at the top. This is where the lines from this directory ultimately end up.

2a. How to Know Your Release

Menu (☰) → Help → About the Program (in some interfaces — icon "i" or "Information"). In the opened window:

  • Platform Version — for example, "1C:Enterprise 8.3.24.x";
  • Configuration and Release — "Accounting for Kazakhstan, version 3.0 (3.0.74.2)".

Check the second line. The composition of service directories in BSP changes from release to release, so the names of the fields below are described for the 3.0.7x line.

3. How to Fill

The key point: you do not fill this directory manually. Records are created and updated by the platform itself when connecting, updating, or disconnecting extensions. Therefore, there are no "mandatory input fields" here in the usual sense — filling is handled by the BSP mechanism. Your task is to be able to read what is there and understand where the line came from.

In the item form, you will see approximately the following attributes:

Field Purpose What Happens If It Is "Incorrect"
Name A clear name for the option, as it appears in the "Select Report Option" panel. If empty/unclear — the user will not find the desired option in the list.
Report (object) A link to the report object from the extension to which the option is tied. Technically stored via the identifier of the metadata object of the extension. If the extension is disabled and the object is "lost" — the option will become non-functional, and an error will occur when selecting it.
Option Name The internal name of the scheme/set of settings within the report. The platform uses it to find the required data composition. Does not match the name in the extension → the option will not open.
Description An explanation for the option (what it shows). Visible in the panel as a tooltip. Empty — not critical, but less clear for the user.
Extension / Extension Identifier Marks which specific extension the option came from. Needed to correctly hide its options when the extension is disabled. Desynchronization → "hanging" lines after disabling the extension.
Visibility/Placement Flags Control in which sections and groups the option is displayed. The option is either not visible where expected or appears in the wrong section.

The exact set of service attributes of the form depends on the version of BSP within the release — this is the only place that really needs to be checked against your configuration. Everything else behaves consistently.

What a user with rights can really do: hide/show the option in the report panel and configure its placement by sections — but this is done not in the directory itself, but in the "Report Panel Settings" form (the "Settings" button in the report panel of a specific section).

4. Analyzed Example

There are no entries here, so the example is "real-life," about how a line appears and how to read it.

Situation. Your integrator provided the extension SalaryReportsExt.cfe with an additional report "Summary of Accruals (Extended)". The report has two options pre-configured: "By Departments" and "By Employees".

What Happens Step by Step:

  1. The administrator connects the extension: Administration → Print Forms, Reports, and Processing → Extensions (or Functions for Technical Specialists → Configuration Extensions) → "Add from File" → selects .cfe → restarts the session.
  2. At startup, the platform sees the report in the extension with two predefined options and automatically creates two records in the directory "Predefined Report Options of Extensions":
Name Report (from the extension) Option Name Extension
Summary of Accruals (Extended) — By Departments SummaryOfAccrualsExt ByDepartments SalaryReportsExt
Summary of Accruals (Extended) — By Employees SummaryOfAccrualsExt ByEmployees SalaryReportsExt
  1. Now in the report panel of the "Salary" section, both options appear in the "Select Report Option" list. The user opens the desired one — the report is built with the pre-defined groupings.
  2. If the extension is then disabled, both lines are marked as unavailable, and the options disappear from the panel. This is expected behavior, not data loss — upon reconnecting the extension, they will return.

That's the whole "example with numbers": here the numbers refer to the number of records and their binding to the extension, not amounts and taxes.

5. Types of Operations

There are no separate "types of operations," as with a document, associated with the directory. Practically, the following actions are related to it:

  • Automatic registration of a predefined option when connecting an extension.
  • Updating/recreating records when updating the extension (the composition of options has changed — records are synchronized).
  • Marking as unavailable when disabling the extension.
  • Updating report options — a service procedure of BSP that rebuilds the correspondence of predefined options and working ones (automatically triggered, the administrator has a manual launch in service processing).

6. What Is Formed

Here it is honest and short, because it is important to understand correctly:

  • No accounting entries. This object does not create debit/credit.
  • No electronic documents. Neither electronic invoices (ESF) nor individual income tax (IIT) are created by this directory and are not related to them.
  • No movements in "accounting" registers (settlements, VAT, taxes).

What it actually "moves" is the data of the report options subsystem: it fills the "Report Options" directory with working options based on predefined ones and updates service registers of option placements by sections (the "Reports" panel). The result is visible only in one place — in the "Select Report Option" list.

7. Print Forms

This directory has no print forms. It does not print anything: neither orders, nor acts, nor certificates. The reports whose options it registers are printed — but the print button resides in the report form, not here.

8. Common Errors

"Predefined report option not found..." / "Report option unavailable". Reason: the extension was disabled or deleted, and the user is trying to open its option (including saved in favorites/on the home page). Solution: reconnect the extension or select a standard report option. After reconnecting, update the report options (usually happens automatically upon restart).

Duplicates of options appeared after updating the extension. Reason: the internal name of the option in the extension has changed, the old record did not "collapse" with the new one. Solution: restart the session (synchronization will start), if necessary — administrative procedure "Update Report Options". Old "hanging" options can be hidden through "Report Panel Settings".

"Insufficient access rights" when trying to open the directory list. Reason: the user lacks administrative rights. This is a service object — a regular accountant does not need it. Solution: perform under a user with administrator rights.

An option from the extension does not appear in the report panel. Reason: the extension is connected, but the update has not been performed, or the option is hidden in the placement settings. Solution: restart the session; check the visibility of the option in the "Report Panel Settings" of the corresponding section.

After deleting the extension, records remained "empty". Reason: the extension was deleted without proper disconnection. Solution: reconnect it and disconnect it properly, or wait for the scheduled update of options; it is better not to delete elements manually.

9. FAQ

Is this an accounting document? Does it create entries? No. This is a service directory of the "Report Options" subsystem. It does not create entries, electronic invoices (ESF), or individual income tax (IIT) and has no relation to VAT/IIT/taxes.

Where do the records come from? They are created automatically by the platform when you connect an extension containing reports with predefined options. There is no need to enter anything manually.

Can this directory be cleaned manually? Not recommended. The correct way to "remove" an option is to disable or delete the corresponding extension. Manual deletion of elements may desynchronize the report panel.

Why did my report options disappear after disabling the extension? That is by design: options live together with their extension. Reconnect the extension — the options will return.

Duplicates appeared — how to remove them? Restart the session (synchronization of options will start). Hide unnecessary/obsolete options in "Report Panel Settings". Usually, duplicates disappear after a correct update of the extension.

Does this directory need to be transferred when updating the configuration? Not specifically. When updating the configuration and BSP, the mechanism automatically updates the records. When transferring the database, it is transferred normally along with all data.

Does it affect month-end closing, VAT, or electronic invoice generation? No. It does not affect month-end closing, regulatory operations, or the issuance of electronic invoices. It is only about which options are visible in the report panel.

Who should see this directory? An administrator or technical specialist. A regular accountant does not need it — they work with ready-made options through the "Select Report Option" button.

How does it differ from the directory "Predefined Report Options"? "Predefined Report Options" stores factory options from the main configuration, while this directory contains the same options in meaning, but those that came from connected extensions. They are separated to correctly manage their appearance/disappearance along with extensions.

How to return a accidentally "lost" option? Make sure the required extension is connected and active, restart the session. If that does not help — ask the administrator to perform an update of report options; if the extension is damaged, reconnect it from the original .cfe.

Can the option be renamed so that users...
