1C:Enterprise Management for Our Company (EMOC) for Kazakhstan is a management accounting program for small businesses that brings together sales, warehouse, procurement, money, production and personnel in one place. This is not an accounting program in the pure sense, but a tool for an owner or manager who wants to see the whole picture of the business and make decisions based on numbers rather than guesses.
Who it's for
The program is designed for small and partially medium-sized business — trade, services, small-scale production. It suits companies where one person or a small team simultaneously handles sales, monitors the warehouse, pays suppliers and calculates employee salaries. If your business is growing and different areas of accounting no longer fit into Excel or scattered spreadsheets — this is the case where EMOC makes sense.

According to the product card, quite a wide range of functionality is declared:
- Accounting and management — across all organizations and divisions, automation of primary documents for trade, finance, warehouse and production.
- Marketing and sales — product range, prices, discounts, different sales schemes (from warehouse, to order, commission), full cycle of customer relations.
- Retail — support for retail outlets, reports on stock and sales, connection of retail equipment, cashier's workstation.
- Supply and procurement — orders to suppliers, execution control.
- Warehouse — separate accounting of goods/materials/products, order-based scheme, inventory, label printing.
- Production and services — planning and accounting of work performed, resource management.
- Money — accounting of cash flow, integration with bank and cash register, payment calendar, loan accounting.
- Payroll and personnel — personnel records, payroll calculation, working time tracking.

A separate advantage is two-way data exchange with "1C:Accounting 8 for Kazakhstan" and "1C:Retail for Kazakhstan": that is, EMOC can be installed alongside an accounting program rather than instead of it, and data won't need to be entered twice.
For this program, as for any boxed 1C product, it is recommended to arrange a 1C:ITS agreement — this is regular technical and methodological support from the 1C company and the partner "Slava KVTs". Without it the program will still work, but updates and the consultation line will be unavailable.

When it's worth getting and when it's not
It's worth getting if you specifically need management accounting — transparency in money, warehouse, customers and production, while you either keep your bookkeeping separately or synchronize it via data exchange. If you already have 1C:Accounting and only need tax and payroll accounting without management analytics — EMOC may turn out to be excessive. Also, you shouldn't buy it "just in case": without configuring it for your specific business processes and without training employees, the program won't deliver results and will simply become another unused system.
