Checked on release 3.0.74.2 "Accounting for Kazakhstan" (version 3.0).
The counterparty sent a reconciliation act. They show your debt as 1,160,000 ₸, while your turnover shows 1,000,000 ₸. Where did the 160,000 ₸ go? It is pointless to open the turnover for all counterparties. You need a line-by-line breakdown: what documents moved the account for this buyer, on what day, for what amount. This is exactly what the Account Card (standard) shows — a chronological record of all transactions for one account (and, if necessary, for one counterparty/contract) with the current balance after each operation.
1. Purpose
The Account Card is a standard report. It does not create transactions and does not post anything. It shows all movements for the selected account over a period: date, document, correspondence, amount in debit and credit, and cumulative balance. This is the main tool when you need to understand what the figure in the turnover-saldo report is made up of.
2. Where to find
Menu: Reports → Standard Reports → Account Card.
The quickest way is to insert a navigation link. Copy the line below, in 1C click Service → Show Navigation Link (or Ctrl+F11 → "Go to Navigation Link") and paste:
e1cib/list/Report.AccountCardStandard
Two more quick entries into the same report:
- from Turnover-Saldo Report: double-click on the account amount → select "Account Card" — it will open with the required account and filter;
- from any document journal: select the document → button "Reports" → "Account Card".
2a. How to know your release
Help (icon "i" or menu "?") → About the program. In the opened window, you can see the platform version (for example, 8.3.24) and configuration release — "Accounting for Kazakhstan, version 3.0 (3.0.74.2)". This instruction is written for release 3.0.74.2; in adjacent releases, the buttons and fields are the same.
3. How to fill (configure the report)
There are no "mandatory fields" in the usual sense here — you are not posting a document, but configuring a selection. However, three fields are critical: without them, the report will either be empty or show incorrect data.
| Field | Purpose | What will happen in case of error |
|---|---|---|
| Period (from… to…) | Boundaries of the selection of movements | A too narrow period will "cut off" the beginning of operations, and the opening balance will look unclear; too wide — the report will swell to thousands of lines |
| Account (key field) | The account for which you are viewing movements (1210, 1030, 3310, etc.) | Without an account, the report will not be generated. If you selected the wrong account — you will see someone else's turnovers |
| Organization | Legal entity, if there are several in the database | The wrong legal entity — the figures will not match its turnover |
Step by step:
- Set the Period. For reconciliation with a counterparty, it is usually taken from the beginning of the year or from the date of the last reconciliation to today.
- Select the Account from the standard chart of accounts of the RK. In the selection field from the chart of accounts — start typing the number, 1C will fill it in.
- Check the Organization in the header.
- Click "Show Settings" (or the settings icon) — the selection and grouping will open:
- Selection (Subaccount). For account 1210, the subaccount is Counterparty and Contract. Set the condition Counterparty = LLP "..." so that the card shows movements only for it. This is the very "breakdown by buyer".
- Grouping (by subaccount, by documents) — affects the order of lines and intermediate totals.
- Indicators: enable "Currency Amount" and "Quantity", if the account is currency or quantitative (for example, 1330 "Goods" is kept by quantity).
- Click "Generate" (F5).
How to read the result. The report opens with the line "Opening Balance". Next — by dates: document column, "Credit to accounts / Debit to accounts" (corresponding account), amounts Debit and Credit, and on the right current balance after each line. At the bottom — turnovers for the period and "Closing Balance".
A double click on any line opens the original document — no need to search for it in the journal manually.
4. Analyzed example with reconciliation
Condition. Account 1210, buyer LLP "Alatau", period — September 2026. The counterparty sent an act: their debt to you is 1,160,000 ₸. You have 1,000,000 ₸ in turnover for them. We generate the account card 1210 with the selection "Counterparty = LLP "Alatau"".
What the card shows:
| Date | Document | Corresponding Account | Debit | Credit | Balance (Dr) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01.09.2026 | Opening Balance | 0 | |||
| 05.09 | Sale (act, invoice) | 6010 | 1,000,000 | 1,000,000 | |
| 05.09 | Sale (VAT 16%) | 3130 | 160,000 | 1,160,000 | |
| 20.09 | — no payment — | 1,160,000 | |||
| Turnovers for the period | 1,160,000 | 0 | |||
| 30.09 | Closing Balance | 1,160,000 |
Here is the solution. When posting the sale, 1C made two transactions:
- Dr 1210 Cr 6010 — 1,000,000 ₸ (income without VAT);
- Dr 1210 Cr 3130 — 160,000 ₸ (VAT 16%).
In the turnover, someone looked only at the income line (6010) and saw 1,000,000. However, the buyer's debt (balance 1210) consists of both lines = 1,160,000 ₸. The counterparty is right. The account card found the error in 10 seconds.
Sale transactions (for understanding what exactly the card breaks down):
| Dr | Cr | Amount, ₸ | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1210 | 6010 | 1,000,000 | Income from sales |
| 1210 | 3130 | 160,000 | VAT payable, 16% |
| 7010 | 1330 | cost | Write-off of goods cost |
When the buyer pays, a line Dr 1030 Cr 1210 — 1,160,000 ₸ will appear in the card, and the balance will close to zero.
5. Types of selection (what the report can do)
The "Account Card" is a universal report, the "type of operation" is set by selection:
- By account as a whole — all movements of the account for the period (for example, all 1030 "Cash in current accounts").
- By account + one counterparty — breakdown of the debt of a specific buyer/supplier (1210, 3310).
- By account + contract — movements for one contract.
- By account + nomenclature — for account 1330 "Goods": incoming/outgoing of a specific product in quantity and amount.
- By currency account — with a column for currency amount and exchange rate differences.
- By employee / report — for example, 1250/3350 in the context of an individual.
6. What is formed (this is a report — it does not post anything)
It is important to understand: the account card does not make transactions, does not issue ESF, and does not form STN. It only reflects movements already made by other documents:
- transactions (accounting register "Cost Accounting") — these are the lines of the card;
- by clicking, it dives into the source document (Sale, PCO, Write-off from current account, etc.), where ESF in the ESF IS, STN, and movements in tax registers are already formed.
If you see an amount in the card, but there is no ESF for it — open the source document with a double click and issue the electronic document there.
7. Printed forms and export
The report does not have a separate "form" — it prints the generated table itself:
- Print (Ctrl+P) — the card on paper with the header "Account Card … for the period … for the organization …".
- Save as — export to Excel (.xlsx), PDF, mxl (1C spreadsheet document).
- Send by email — directly from the report window as an attachment.
- The button "Save report variant" — saves your settings (account, selection, groupings) so that you do not have to set them up again next time.
8. Frequent errors
"The field 'Account' is not filled" (or the report is generated empty). You clicked "Generate" without selecting an account. Specify the account in the header.
The report is empty, although there were definitely movements. Three reasons: (1) narrow period — expand the dates; (2) the wrong counterparty/contract is set in the selection — remove or correct the selection in "Settings"; (3) the wrong legal entity is selected in the "Organization" field.
The opening balance "hangs", although the year is closed. The balance for this account has not been reformed or the month has not been closed. Check the period closure — the card honestly shows what is in the transactions.
The amounts in the card do not match the turnover-saldo. Almost always — different periods or different selections. Generate both reports strictly for one period and one organization.
"The amount in the card is less than in the counterparty's act". A classic from the example above: you are looking at the income line (6010), while the debt is the balance of account 1210 considering the VAT line (3130). Compare the balance of the account.
The data did not update after posting the document. The report does not recalculate itself. Click "Generate" (F5) again.
9. FAQ
How does the account card differ from the turnover-saldo report? The turnover-saldo report shows totals (opening balance, turnover, closing balance) summarized. The card is a line-by-line breakdown: each document, date, correspondence, and balance after each operation. The turnover-saldo answers "how much", the card answers "what it consists of".
How to view the card for only one counterparty? Open "Show Settings" → section "Selection" → add the condition "Subaccount1 (Counterparty) = …". For accounts 1210/3310, this is the most common reconciliation scenario.
Can I see the quantity of goods, not just the amount? Yes. In the settings, enable the indicator "Quantity". For account 1330, the card will show both the amount and the quantity for each nomenclature.
Why are there two lines in the card 1210 for one sale? Because when posting the sale, two transactions are formed: Dr 1210 Cr 6010 (income) and Dr 1210 Cr 3130 (VAT 16%). The buyer's debt = the sum of both.
How to open the document from the card? Double-click on the line — the source document (sale, payment, receipt) will open. You can also correct or issue the ESF from there.
Does the account card issue ESF or STN? No. This is a report, it does not post anything and does not send to the ESF IS. Electronic documents are issued in the source document, which you dive into from the card.
How to export the card to Excel for a counterparty? Generate the report → "Save as" → select Excel format (.xlsx). Or "Send by email" as an attachment.
Why is the opening balance not zero, although this is the first month of operation? This means that initial balances were entered for the account (document "Input of Initial Balances") or movements occurred in an earlier period. Expand the period back — you will see where the balance came from.
The report is slow and gives thousands of lines — what to do? Narrow the period and add a selection by a specific subaccount. The card is built for one account and, as a rule, for one counterparty/contract — then it is fast and readable.
How to save the setting so you don't have to specify the account and selection every time? The button "Save report variant" — specify a name (for example, "1210 for Alatau"), and the setting will appear in the list of variants.
10. Related documents
The account card is a "mirror" of transactions, so it is related to almost all documents that create these transactions:
- Sale of goods and services — lines Dr 1210 Cr 6010 / Cr 3130;
- Receipt of goods and services — Dr 1330 Cr 3310 and VAT for credit;
- Incoming/Outgoing cash order, Receipt/Write-off from current account — movements for 1010/1030;
- Input of initial balances — forms the opening balance;
- Month-end closing / balance reform — affects the closing balance.
Nothing is entered based on the account card — this is a report. But it is convenient to dive into the primary document from it to correct, repost, or generate a <
