Checked on release 3.0.74.2 "Accounting for Kazakhstan" (version 3.0).

You have filled out the VAT declaration (tax return form 300.00), and in the taxable turnover line, there is an amount that you do not recognize. Or the counterparty sent a reconciliation act, showing one turnover, while you have a different one in your declaration. You don't want to manually recalculate 200 transactions for the quarter. You hover over the "unclear" cell and click "Decrypt" — and this report opens. It breaks down the figure into its components: by counterparties, by documents, by accounts — down to the specific invoice and electronic invoice (ESF). Next, here’s how to use it.

1. Purpose

The "Decryption of Regulated Reports" shows what exactly made up the amount in the cell of the declaration or calculation. This is not a document — it does not post or change anything. It is a service report that is called from the filled regulated form and reveals the automatically calculated indicator down to the primary data: documents, postings, registers.

2. Where to find

There is no separate button "in the face" for the report — it always opens from the regulated report:

  1. Section "Reports" → "Regulated Reports" (or "1C-Reporting").
  2. Open the required form — for example, 300.00 (VAT Declaration), 200.00 (Individual Income Tax and social payments), 100.00 (Corporate Income Tax), 700.00 (property/transport/land tax).
  3. Click "Fill" to pull in accounting data.
  4. Hover over the cell with the amount and click "Decrypt" on the command panel (or right-click → "Decrypt", or double-click on the cell).

You can open the list of report forms directly in 1C through "Service" → "Go to navigation link":

e1cib/list/Report.DecryptionOfRegulatedReports

This way, you will get to the list of decryption objects, but in real work, always go from the filled declaration — otherwise, the report will have no context (which form, which cell, which period).

2a. How to find out your release

"Help" → "About the program" (or the "i" icon in the upper right corner). There are two lines: platform version (for example, 8.3.24) and configuration release — "Accounting for Kazakhstan, version 3.0 (3.0.74.2)". The decryption and algorithms for filling out declarations are strictly tied to the release: the tax return forms and calculation rules are updated together with the configuration, so in case of discrepancies, first check the release.

3. How to fill out

This report does not have separate "input fields" — it receives everything from the parent declaration. But it has decryption parameters that you can control. Let’s break them down.

  • Indicator / cell (mandatory, filled in automatically). This is the cell you were hovering over. If there is no amount or the cell is filled in manually — the decryption will not open (see section 8).
  • Period (mandatory, inherited from the declaration). Matches the tax period of the form. If the decryption "does not match" expectations — check if the correct quarter/year is open in the declaration itself.
  • Organization (mandatory, inherited). If there are multiple legal entities, make sure the correct one is open — you cannot mix figures from different organizations.
  • Grouping option. Usually available cuts: by counterparties, by documents, by accounting accounts, by VAT rates, by nomenclature. Change the cut using buttons on the decryption panel — this way, the same amount can be viewed from different angles.
  • Drill-down. Double-clicking on a decryption line drills down to the next level: counterparty → documents of that counterparty → postings/ESF of the document → the document itself. This is the main tool for finding "extra" or "missing" amounts.

No need to save anything: close the decryption — return to the declaration. If necessary, the result can be printed or exported to Excel (see section 7).

4. Analyzed example with figures and postings

Situation. Quarter of 2026. In tax return form 300.00 in the taxable turnover line (300.00.001) you see:

Indicator Amount
Taxable turnover (A) 16,000,000 ₸
VAT at 16% (B) 2,560,000 ₸

The counterparty LLP "Astana-Service" shows a turnover of 10,000,000 ₸ in the reconciliation act, while you expected 9,000,000 ₸. You hover over the cell with VAT 2,560,000 ₸, click "Decrypt", and select the cut "by counterparties":

Counterparty Turnover VAT 16%
LLP "Astana-Service" 10,000,000 1,600,000
sole proprietor Akhmetov 6,000,000 960,000
Total 16,000,000 2,560,000

Double-clicking on "Astana-Service" drills down to the documents and you see two sales: for 9,000,000 ₸ and for 1,000,000 ₸ — you forgot to include the second one in your reconciliation. The discrepancy is found.

Another click — and the actual "Sale" for 1,000,000 ₸ (excluding VAT) opens, which generated the postings:

Dr 1210 Cr 6010 1,000,000 income from sales excluding VAT
Dr 1210 Cr 3130 160,000 VAT payable (16%)
Dr 7010 Cr 1330 620,000 cost of goods sold

Total receivable from the buyer: 1,160,000 ₸ (Dr 1210). It is the line Cr 3130 = 160,000 ₸ that ended up in the decrypted VAT cell. The amount Cr 6010 forms the taxable turnover. This is how the decryption links the figure in the declaration to a specific posting and primary document.

5. Types (options) of decryption

The report provides several ways to reveal the indicator:

  • By counterparties — who provided this turnover/input tax.
  • By documents — which sales/receipts/accruals were included in the amount.
  • By accounting accounts — which accounts (6010, 3130, 1210, etc.) formed the figure.
  • By VAT rates — breakdown of taxable/exempt/0% turnover.
  • By nomenclature / types of accruals — for commodity lines and for "salary" forms (200.00): IIT, OIW, OIWR, SO, OMS, VOMS, social tax.
  • To the primary document — the final level, opens the document itself.

6. What is generated upon invocation

The report does not make postings and does not create electronic documents — it only reads data. But during decryption, it relies on movements that have already been formed by the primary document:

  • Accounting register "Journal of Postings" — for amounts based on postings (6010, 7010, 3130, etc.).
  • VAT accumulation registers and turnover accounting — for lines of declarations 300.00; from here, the decryption "pulls" to ESF (ESF IS) and SNT, related to sales.
  • Registers of settlements with employees and taxes from payroll — for forms 200.00.

Through drill-down from the decryption, the primary document itself opens, and from it — its postings, ESF, and SNT. The decryption itself remains "read-only".

7. Print forms

  • Print decryption — table "indicator → components" on paper or in PDF.
  • Save to file — using the "Save as..." button in Excel (.xlsx), .mxl or .pdf; convenient to attach to the reconciliation act.
  • Print the declaration itself — from the parent form (300.00, 200.00, 100.00, etc.), the decryption itself is not attached to the declaration.

8. Common errors

  • "Decryption is not available for the selected cell" / "Indicator filled in manually". You edited the cell manually over the auto-fill — the link to the accounting is broken. Click "Fill" again (this will reset manual edits) or look for data in the turnover-saldo statement for the required account.
  • The decryption is empty, but there is an amount in the cell. The cell is calculated from other lines of the form (total/calculated), not directly from accounting. Decrypt the source lines, not the total.
  • Amounts in the decryption do not match expectations. The period or organization is not correct, or the declaration has not been refilled for a long time after entering documents retroactively — click "Fill".
  • VAT is calculated at 12%, not 16%. This means that the document or contract has an outdated rate. Check the VAT rate in the sale: since 2026, 16% applies.
  • "No data found for filling" when trying to decrypt an empty line — there is simply no turnover for this indicator in the period.

9. FAQ

Real questions from accountants are collected in the block below.

10. Related documents

  • Based on what it works: regulated reports — tax return form 300.00 (VAT), 200.00 (IIT and social payments), 100.00 (CIT), 700.00 (property/transport/land). Decryption is called only from them.
  • Where it leads: to the primary document that formed the indicator — "Sale of goods and services", "Receipt of goods and services", "Accrual of salaries", "ESF", "SNT", as well as to accounting postings and records of VAT registers.
  • How to double-check: "Turnover-saldo statement by account" (6010, 3130, 1210, 3310), "Account analysis", "Universal report" on VAT registers.

How to find out your release: "Help" → "About the program" — there you will find the platform version and configuration release.

The instruction is prepared for release 3.0.74.2 "Accounting for Kazakhstan" (version 3.0). In other releases, the tax return forms and calculation algorithms may differ.

Частые вопросы

Why doesn't the decryption open — the "Decrypt" button does nothing?
Most likely, you are on a cell filled manually or on a calculated result that is computed from other rows. Only indicators automatically filled from the accounting can be decrypted. Click "Fill" in the declaration to restore auto-fill, and position yourself on the original row, not on the total.
The decryption shows VAT at 12%, but it should be 16% — what's wrong?
The rate is taken from the primary document. Drill down from the decryption to the sale and check the VAT rate in the table part and in the contract. Starting from 2026, the rate in Kazakhstan is 16%; the outdated 12% in the document needs to be corrected and reprocessed, then the declaration should be filled out again.
How to access a specific document from the decryption?
By double-clicking. The decryption unfolds in levels: counterparty → their documents → the document itself. From the last level, the primary document (sale, receipt, accrual) opens, and from it — the entries, electronic invoice (ESF), and social tax.
The amounts in the decryption do not match the total in the declaration cell. Why?
Check the period and organization — they must match the form. A common reason: after filling out the declaration, you entered or edited documents retroactively. Click "Fill" in the declaration again to recalculate the indicators based on the current data.
Does the decryption change entries or create an electronic invoice (ESF)?
No. This is a read-only report. It does not post, create, or change anything — it only shows which documents and entries contributed to the figure. All movements are generated by the primary document, not the decryption.
Can the decryption be exported to Excel and attached to the reconciliation act?
Yes. In the open decryption, click "Save as..." and select the .xlsx format (also available .mxl and .pdf) or send it to print. This is convenient for reconciliation with the counterparty or for attaching to explanations in the tax authority.
How to decrypt a line by individual identification number (IIN) or social tax in form 200.00?
Similarly: position yourself on the cell of the required indicator and click "Decrypt." The report will break down the amount by employees and types of accruals — IIN 10% (and 15% above the threshold of 8,500 MCI annual income), social tax 10%, social tax rate 3.5%, social contributions 5%, mandatory social health insurance 3%, voluntary social health insurance 2%, social tax 6%. From there, you can drill down into the "Salary Accrual" document.
In the IIN decryption, the deduction is calculated at 14 MCI — is this an error?
Yes, for 2026 this is an outdated value. The basic tax deduction for IIN from 2026 is 30 MCI per month (not more than 360 MCI per year) at MCI 4,325 ₸. If you see 14 MCI, it means the document was calculated under old norms or an outdated release — update the configuration and refill the accrual and declaration.
