How to find deductions for writ of execution in 1C

If deductions under writs of execution are not displayed in the "Salary" tab in 1C:Accounting for Kazakhstan, the issue is most often in the display settings: by default, the filter may hide this data. To see the deduction amounts, you need to go to the writ of execution settings and set the filters to show deductions — after proper configuration, the required information will become visible in the system.

Why deductions may not be displayed

The deduction under a writ of execution itself may be correctly registered in the program but not displayed on the screen due to interface settings. The most typical reason is that the display filter in the "Salary" tab is set in such a way that it hides the lines with deductions. Sometimes this setting is configured in the opposite direction: instead of showing, it is set to hiding, and this is easy to overlook.

  • The display filter hides deductions instead of showing them.
  • The settings of the writ of execution itself do not provide for displaying deductions in the general list.
  • The data relates to a different period or employee than the one selected on the screen.

What needs to be done

  1. Open the document (card) of the writ of execution under which the deduction is made.
  2. Go to the writ of execution settings.
  3. Set the filters to show deductions.
  4. Save the setting and return to the "Salary" tab — after proper filter configuration, the required data on deductions will become visible.

If the information still does not appear after this, check once again that the filter is set specifically to show and not to hide deductions. It is precisely this reverse setting that most often leads to the accountant not seeing deductions, even though they are in the database.

Where else to check the deduction data

If the filter is configured correctly but doubts remain, you should make sure that the deduction has been registered at all and included in the calculation. To do this:

  • Check that a valid writ of execution has been created for the employee and that its period of validity is specified.
  • Make sure that the salary accrual document for the required month has been posted — the deduction is calculated based on the accrual.
  • Verify the organization, division, employee, and month selected on the screen: if the filter for these attributes does not match the data of the writ of execution, the deduction line will not be displayed.

Step-by-step procedure for a practicing accountant

  1. Check that the document exists. Open the list of writs of execution and make sure that the required document has been created for the specific employee.
  2. Check the display settings. Go to the writ of execution settings and set the filters to show deductions.
  3. Check the direction of the setting. Make sure that the filter is set specifically to show and not to hide deductions.
  4. Refresh the "Salary" tab. After proper configuration, the data on deductions will become visible in the system.
  5. Verify the calculation. If the deduction is displayed, verify the amount against the payroll sheet and the data of the writ of execution.

Common mistakes

  • The display filter is set to hide deductions rather than to show them — the most common reason for data "disappearing".
  • The accountant is looking for the deduction in the wrong period or for the wrong employee than specified in the writ of execution.
  • The salary accrual document for the month has not been posted, so the deduction was not calculated and is not displayed.
  • The filter settings are changed, but the accountant forgets to refresh the screen form, which makes it seem that there are still no deductions.

What to check

  • Whether a writ of execution has been created for the employee and whether its period of validity is specified.
  • Whether the filter in the "Salary" tab is set specifically to show deductions.
  • Whether the setting is in the opposite direction — to hiding.
  • Whether the organization, employee, and month selected on the screen match the data of the writ of execution.
  • Whether the salary accrual document for the required period has been posted.
  • Whether the displayed deduction amount matches the payroll sheet.

Once the filter is set to show deductions and the period and employee attributes are selected correctly, deductions under writs of execution are correctly displayed in the "Salary" tab. If the data does not appear even with the correct filter setting, the problem is usually not in the display but in the calculation itself: you should return to checking the writ of execution and the posted salary accrual.
