1. Object identification
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Object type | Report (Отчет) |
| Name | АнализФинансовыхРезультатов |
| Full path | Отчет.АнализФинансовыхРезультатов |
| Synonym | “Financial Results” |
| Configuration | Trade Management for Kazakhstan, edition 3.4 (version 3.4.5.21) |
| Where to find it in the interface | “My Company” → “Financial Results” section |
| Navigation link | e1cib/list/Отчет.АнализФинансовыхРезультатов |
| Presentation currency | tenge (₸) |
Purpose. The report is intended to analyse the company’s financial performance—gross profit and profitability—for the selected period. It collects data on revenue, cost of sales, trade markup, and other income and expenses and presents them by analytical dimension: company, item, item type, manager, business partner, department, and other available dimensions. This is an analytical object that reads and aggregates information previously recorded in the infobase.
Important. Do not confuse the report with the “Cost Calculation” and “Month-End Closing” scheduled operations. The report displays the result based on the available data, while cost calculation is performed by the corresponding scheduled operation.
2. Report attributes and settings (parameters)
Reports in Trade Management for Kazakhstan are built using the Data Composition System (DCS); therefore, the object does not have conventional header attributes and tabular sections as documents do. Their role is performed by data composition schema parameters and user settings: filters, fields, and groupings.
2.1. Main parameters (settings header)
| Parameter | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Company | СправочникСсылка.Организации | Restricts data to one company; when multiple companies are selected, it allows indicators to be analysed for each company |
| НачалоПериода / КонецПериода (Период) | Date / standard period | Sets the boundaries for financial performance analysis |
| ВидЦены / Валюта | Presentation setting | Determines how indicators are presented; by default, amounts are displayed in tenge |
| Department | СправочникСсылка | Applies a filter by organisational unit |
| Manager | СправочникСсылка.Пользователи | Allows financial performance to be analysed by responsible person |
2.2. Indicators (resources)
The report uses a standard set of financial indicators:
- Revenue (sales income) — the sales amount excluding VAT;
- Cost of sales — the cost of goods or services sold as recorded in the infobase;
- Gross profit = Revenue − Cost of sales;
- Profitability, % = Gross profit / Revenue × 100;
- Other income and expenses — where corresponding transactions exist;
- Markup — an indicator used to analyse trading operations.
2.3. Analytical dimensions (grouping dimensions)
Company · Department · Manager · Business partner (customer) · Contract · Item · Item type · Price group · Warehouse · Order.
Revenue amounts are reported excluding VAT. At the current VAT rate in the RK of 16 %, the sales value excluding the tax amount is included in revenue for financial performance analysis.
3. Report forms
| Form | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| ФормаОтчета (main) | DCS report form | Selecting the period and filters, executing the “Generate” command, and outputting the result to a spreadsheet document |
| ФормаНастроек / built-in settings panel | Composition settings form | Advanced structure configuration: groupings, fields, filters, and conditional formatting |
| Report variants (ВариантыОтчета) | Predefined settings | Ready-made views by item, manager, customer, or period |
For DCS reports, a universal report form with a generated quick settings panel may be used. The specific set of commands and settings is determined by the report implementation in the specified configuration version.
4. Key module procedures
The set of procedures depends on the object implementation in the configuration. For DCS reports in configurations with the Standard Subsystems Library, handlers are used to generate the result, load a variant, and configure the form.
Object or manager module:
- ПриКомпоновкеРезультата(ДокументРезультат, ДанныеРасшифровки, СтандартнаяОбработка) — a result generation handler in which additional formatting and population of calculated indicators, such as profitability or share of revenue, may be performed.
- НастройкиФормы(Форма, КлючВарианта, Настройки) — a handler for managing available commands and form presentation, if provided by the object implementation.
- ПриОпределенииВариантовОтчета(Настройки) or НастроитьВариантыОтчета() — procedures used to describe report variants and their placement parameters.
Form module:
- ПриСозданииНаСервере(Отказ, СтандартнаяОбработка) — initialisation of the form, period, and user settings.
- ПриЗагрузкеВариантаНаСервере(Настройки) — additional form configuration when switching the report variant.
The exact names of procedures and calculated fields depend on the software implementation of the report in version 3.4.5.21. When developing an extension, use the procedures actually provided by the object module and report form.
5. Data source (equivalent of “posting and register movements”)
The report retrieves previously recorded data from accounting registers. The composition of datasets is determined by the data composition schema and the functionality enabled in the infobase. The following may be used as sources of indicators:
- Accumulation registers of the turnover or balance type containing information about sales, revenue, cost of sales, gross profit, other income, and expenses.
- Regulated accounting data, if the corresponding datasets are included in the report schema or used to reconcile indicators.
The economic meaning of the indicators can be mapped to data from the standard chart of accounts of the RK:
| Report indicator | RK account | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Sales income | 6010 | Sales income excluding VAT |
| Cost of sales | 7010 | Cost of goods, work, or services sold |
| Goods | 1330 | Accounting for goods whose value may be included in the cost calculation |
| VAT payable | 3130 | The VAT amount is accounted for separately from revenue excluding tax |
| Settlements with customers | 1210 | Settlements for sales to buyers and customers |
| Cash in current accounts | 1030 | Funds in current bank accounts |
| Settlements with suppliers | 3310 | Settlements with suppliers and contractors |
The main formula for the report indicator:
Gross profit = revenue excluding VAT 16 % − cost of sales.
Sales whose data is used for analysis may be accompanied by electronic documents of the RK: E-invoices in the E-invoicing IS and accompanying notes for goods (SNT) in applicable cases. Amounts in the accounting system and electronic documents must be reconciled so that revenue and VAT indicators are reported correctly.
6. Related objects and creation based on
The creation based on mechanism is intended for documents and does not apply to generating this report. Functionally, the report is linked to objects that serve as accounting data sources:
- Source documents for revenue and cost of sales: “Sales of Goods and Services”, “Retail Sales Report”, “Sales of Services and Other Assets”, “Return of Goods from Customer”.
- Expense and other transaction documents: “Other Income and Expenses”, “Transaction (regulated accounting)”.
- Scheduled operations: “Calculation of Cost of Goods”, “Month-End Closing”. Until they are performed, cost of sales and gross profit data for the period may be incomplete.
- Electronic documents: E-invoices and SNT accompanying the relevant sales and goods movement transactions.
- Related reports: “Gross Profit”, “Sales”, “Income and Expenses”.
7. Extension points
- Configuration extension without discontinuing support: adding custom report variants through handlers provided in the configuration; supplementing the result with calculated columns, such as profitability calculated using the methodology adopted by the company.
- Additional reports: connecting an external report through the “Additional Reports and Data Processors” subsystem with its own data composition schema.
- User settings and variants: saving filters, fields, and the report structure using standard DCS tools without modifying the configuration.
- Modifying the composition schema: adding datasets to compare management and regulated indicators.
- Conditional formatting: highlighting loss-making items and low-profitability indicators using DCS user settings.
When refining VAT-related calculations, the rate applicable in 2026 is 16 %. Formulas, filters, and calculated fields must use the same rate in all report variants.
8. Questions and answers
Why is the revenue in the report lower than the sales amount charged to the customer?
The report shows revenue excluding VAT. At the VAT rate of 16 %, the tax amount is accounted for separately and is not included in the sales income indicator.
Why is the expected gross profit not displayed for the period?
Check the selected period boundaries, company, and active filters. If cost calculation is used in accounting, the indicators also depend on the corresponding scheduled operation being performed for the period analysed.
How can I obtain details by customer or item?
Open the report structure settings and add grouping by business partner, customer, item, or item type. To narrow the selection, you can simultaneously apply a filter by the required value.
Can a configured report variant be saved?
Yes, DCS user settings allow you to save the set of fields, groupings, filters, and formatting as a separate variant if this command is available to the user in the configuration.
