If sources of receipt are not generated in 1C (for example, when writing off goods the program cannot determine where they came from), the problem is most often related to the accounting parameter settings, namely the enabled "Virtual Warehouse" mode.
What to check
Go to the accounting parameter settings and check whether the "Virtual Warehouse" option is enabled. This parameter is responsible for how the program tracks sources of goods receipt by warehouses and batches. If it is configured incorrectly or enabled unnecessarily, the system may not see or generate the required sources.
How to fix it
- Open the Accounting Parameters section.
- Find the "Virtual Warehouse" setting.
- Check its current state and bring it in line with how warehouse accounting is organized in your company.
- After changing the setting, check whether the sources of receipt appear when re-posting the documents.
If the problem persists after checking this setting, make sure that the receipt documents are posted correctly and in the right chronological order — sources are generated based on previously posted receipt documents.
