Give accountants, managers, business owners and international specialists a language they understand in 1C. 1C-Sapa has prepared two language packages for the standard Accounting for Kazakhstan, edition 3.0, version 3.0.73.1 configuration: RU+KK with Russian and Kazakh, and RU+KK+EN with English added for international teams.
This is not a separate accounting application and does not require you to migrate accounting data to another database. The localization adds a tested language layer to the standard configuration after its version and compatibility have been reviewed. Employees continue to use the same data and familiar 1C workflow while selecting the appropriate interface language.
What the localization is
A production-grade 1C translation goes far beyond renaming the main sections. User-facing text is stored in XML metadata, managed forms, commands, data composition schemas, MXL spreadsheet documents, print areas and BSL program modules. If only the navigation is translated, accountants will still encounter Russian field captions, warnings, questions, report settings and print-form labels.
The release processes localizable text throughout the available standard XML, BSL and MXL layers. It covers object presentations, form captions, commands, messages and other text that employees see in everyday work. Placeholders, parameters, formatting marks and special characters have been preserved.
Internal identifiers, report-variant keys, technical field names, query parameters and values that affect program execution are deliberately not translated. This separation is essential: the interface language changes while the executable logic of the standard configuration remains intact.
Who needs a multilingual Accounting for Kazakhstan environment
Kazakh-speaking employees
The RU+KK package gives accountants and other users a Kazakh interface while keeping Russian available to colleagues, administrators and support specialists. People with different language preferences can work in one information database rather than maintaining language-specific copies.
It is suitable for organizations in Astana, Almaty and other regions of Kazakhstan that want to support the state language in daily operations without splitting accounting between separate systems.
International businesses in Kazakhstan
The RU+KK+EN package is intended for organizations with foreign shareholders, executives, finance directors, auditors or advisers. English helps international specialists navigate the application, open forms and take part in process discussions, while Russian and Kazakh remain available to the local team.
This option fits representative offices, joint ventures, investment projects and corporate groups operating in Kazakhstan. It reduces the interface language barrier between local accounting and international management without replacing the local statutory accounting configuration.
Accounting service providers and larger teams
When one team serves several legal entities or professionals in different countries participate in the workflow, the three-language package helps retain one working environment. A separate database is not required merely to present the interface in another language.
Choose a language package
RU+KK — Russian and Kazakh
This package is designed for local organizations, accounting departments and teams with Kazakh-speaking employees. Russian remains available, so adoption can be gradual: some users may continue in the familiar Russian interface while others select Kazakh.
The team works with the same documents, reports and data without duplicating the accounting system. RU+KK is the practical option when a complete Russian–Kazakh environment is needed but an English interface is not.
RU+KK+EN — Russian, Kazakh and English
The extended package serves international businesses, larger organizations and multilingual groups. It brings local accountants, Kazakh-speaking employees and English-speaking management together in the same standard configuration.
English is especially useful to foreign owners, CFOs, auditors and consultants who need to understand the interface structure and collaborate with local specialists. This release does not include a separate RU+EN package.
What has been translated
Confirmed coverage includes:
- application sections, subsystems and navigation items;
- commands, buttons and user actions;
- attributes, fields, lists and document forms;
- catalog, processor and report forms;
- report settings and data composition schemas;
- user messages, warnings and questions;
- localizable
НСтр/NStrstrings in BSL; - XML metadata and object properties;
- MXL and spreadsheet documents;
- print-form areas, cells, headings and captions;
- message parameters and placeholders.
Final QA recorded 1,023,291 localizable units in RU+KK and 1,023,292 units in RU+KK+EN. The checks covered 46,222 BSL units, 127,976 form units, 764,177 template and MXL units, 176 commands and 324 subsystem units. The complete reverse XML exports contain 25,141 and 25,142 files respectively.
The embedded supplier HTML help is not represented as fully translated: the source contains 1,233 ru.html files without confirmed Kazakh and English equivalents. In addition, some external ETD classifiers have no English column, and the source code of three protected modules is closed by the supplier. These boundaries are stated explicitly in the QA report rather than hidden behind a broad coverage claim.
Business benefits
A clearer working environment
Employees can identify the required command, understand a form field, interpret an application message and read a print-form caption more easily. This reduces routine interface questions and makes onboarding less dependent on a colleague translating the screen.
One database for the whole team
The language package does not create a separate accounting environment. Users work with shared data and one standard configuration while choosing the interface language appropriate to their role.
Better participation by international management
The three-language release makes the application more accessible to foreign executives and advisers. It does not replace professional translation of statutory reports, tax advice or legal documents, but it removes much of the language barrier around navigation and operational discussion.
The standard configuration remains the foundation
Your organization does not switch to an unrelated custom accounting product with an independent development path. The standard Accounting for Kazakhstan configuration remains the foundation, and the localization is installed as a prepared update after the database has been reviewed.
Controlled release support
New standard releases can introduce forms, commands and messages. Their changed text needs analysis, translation and another QA cycle. Support is therefore tied to an active service agreement rather than presented as unlimited automatic compatibility with every future version.
How the localization is installed
The localization is installed as an update to the standard configuration. Support and adaptation of the translation for new releases are provided for the duration of the 1C:ITS agreement with 1C-Sapa.
Before work begins, the configuration version, 1C platform version and customer modifications are identified. A current backup of the information database is mandatory. The specialists then agree on the update procedure, install the selected language package and verify that the application starts correctly.
The process is usually more straightforward when the database is standard and matches the supported release. If modules, forms, reports, data exchanges or print documents have been modified, compatibility and a safe merge procedure must be assessed in advance. Automatic compatibility with every modified database is not promised.
There is no need to transfer opening balances, catalogs or documents to a new application because the localization is added to the existing standard configuration. The exact implementation plan can nevertheless be determined only after the working database has been inspected.
Support for new standard releases
The standard configuration continues to evolve, so a translation prepared for one version cannot be copied into every future release without verification. New and changed user-facing text must be localized, and affected objects need to be rebuilt and tested again.
1C-Sapa provides support and adaptation of the translation while the 1C:ITS agreement with the company remains valid. Timing for a particular standard release depends on the scope of upstream changes, the condition of the database and customer modifications. This approach keeps updates controlled and avoids an unrealistic promise of automatic, perpetual compatibility.
How quality was verified
Both deliveries were built with 1C:Enterprise 8.3.23.2040. Static QA of the complete localizable layer finished with zero critical findings and zero warnings. The checks covered XML validity, populated language branches, placeholders, residual Russian text in the target languages and preservation of technical values.
Comparing the localized source tree with the reverse XML export after the build produced 0 mismatches. Designer reported no BSL syntax diagnostics and no unresolved metadata references. Both CF files were loaded into clean file information databases and applied to their structures. Thin clients launched in Kazakh and English remained active for 300 seconds with no platform-log errors.
Designer’s extended check produced the same supplier integration-method warnings in both branches. They are recorded in the release QA and are not translation syntax defects. Technical reports, build logs and checksums are included in the delivery package.
How to buy and implement the localization
- Choose a package: RU+KK or RU+KK+EN.
- Provide the database and platform versions. Tested builds are ready for configuration version 3.0.73.1.
- Describe customer modifications. Changed forms, modules, reports and extensions should be disclosed before installation.
- Receive a compatibility assessment and proposal. The delivery, installation and support scope are agreed in advance.
- Create a backup. A working database must not be updated without a recoverable backup.
- Install and verify. After the update, the team checks startup and availability of the selected languages.
