Verified in release 3.4.5.21 of “Trade Management for Kazakhstan” (revision 3.4).

The warehouse keeper claims there are 120 packs of coffee in the warehouse, while 1C shows 132. The director asks: “Show how much inventory and what value is stored in each warehouse right now.” The stocktaking revealed inventory mix-ups, and it is necessary to determine which items and warehouses have discrepancies. In all these situations, open the Statement of Organizations’ Goods at Item Prices. This is your main “trial balance” view of inventory: opening balance, receipts, issues, and closing balance—both in units and tenge, broken down by organization, warehouse, and each inventory item.

1. Purpose

The report shows inventory movements and balances by organization at item prices (accounting/purchase cost rather than selling price). It provides the opening balance, receipt and issue turnover, and closing balance in both quantity and amount. It is a tool for reconciling warehouse records with accounting records and preparing for stocktaking.

2. Where to find it

There are two ways:

- Via the menu: go to Warehouse and Delivery (in some interfaces, Inventory and Purchasing) → Warehouse Reports group → Statement of Organizations’ Goods at Item Prices. If the report is not on the panel, click Reports → All Reports and find it in the warehouse section.

- Direct 1C navigation link. Go to Service (or the icon on the side) → Follow Navigation Link → paste:

e1cib/list/Отчет.ВедомостьПоТоварамОрганизацийВЦенахНоменклатуры

It is convenient to save the link to “Favorites” (the star icon) so that you can open the report with one click.

2а. How to find your release

Go to Help → About (or the “i” / question mark icon in the upper-right corner). In the window that opens, you will see the platform version (for example, 8.3.24.xxxx) and the configuration release—a line such as “Trade Management for Kazakhstan, revision 3.4 (3.4.5.21).” Compare your release with the heading of these instructions: the set of fields and columns in reports changes between releases.

3. How to complete it (configure the report)

The report is not “completed” like a document—you specify the parameters and click Generate. Let us review each field.

Field
Purpose
What happens if it is set incorrectly

Period (required)
Defines the boundaries: the start and end dates for calculating turnover. Without it, the report will use the entire range and will be resource-intensive.
If you specify a narrow period, the “opening balance” will be very large (all receipts before the date will be rolled into it), while turnover will be empty.

Organization (required if there are several companies)
Filters data for one legal entity.
If you leave it blank when there are several organizations, the amounts will be combined and reconciliation with the accounting records of one company will not match.

Warehouse
Limits the output to one warehouse (or several warehouses).
If you do not specify it, you will see the total for all warehouses; this is inconvenient when reconciling with a specific warehouse keeper.

Item / Item Type
Filters by product or group (for example, “Coffee” only).
An empty field means all items, causing the report to expand to thousands of rows.

“Settings” button (More → Edit Variant)
Controls groupings (Warehouse → Item → Characteristic) and the columns displayed (quantity, amount).
If you remove the required grouping, you will lose the breakdown for which you opened the report.

Currency
The default is tenge (₸), the statutory accounting currency.
It is not normally changed.

Sequence: Period → Organization → Warehouse/Item (as needed) → Generate. Grouping settings are saved by clicking More → Save Report Variant.

4. Worked example with figures

Scenario. Caravan LLP, Main warehouse, period—September 2026, product: Arabica Coffee, 1 kg. Records are maintained at item prices (acquisition cost).

Movements during the month:

- Balance as of 01.09.2026: 20 units × 3 000 ₸ = 60 000 ₸.

- 05.09 receipt from the supplier: 100 units × 3 200 ₸ = 320 000 ₸ (excluding VAT; VAT of 16% is charged separately to account 1420 and is not included in the cost of the goods).

- 18.09 sale to a customer: 90 units. Issue at the average cost: cost = (60 000 + 320 000) / 120 = 3 166,67 ₸/unit, total cost written off: 285 000 ₸.

What the report will show (columns—Quantity / Amount, ₸):

Indicator
Quantity, units
Amount, ₸

Opening balance
20
60 000

Receipts
100
320 000

Issues
90
285 000

Closing balance
30
95 000

Check: 60 000 + 320 000 − 285 000 = 95 000 ₸, 30 units at the average cost of 3 166,67 ₸.

Accounting entries underlying these figures (they are generated by documents, not by the report—the report only displays the result):

- Receipt of goods on 05.09:
- Dr 1330 “Goods” — Cr 3310 “Payables to suppliers” — 320 000 ₸

- Dr 1420 “Recoverable VAT” — Cr 3310 — 51 200 ₸ (16% of 320 000)

- Sale on 18.09 (selling price assumed to be 5 000 ₸/unit):
- Dr 1210 “Trade receivables” — Cr 6010 “Revenue from sales” — 450 000 ₸

- Dr 1210 — Cr 3130 “VAT payable” — 72 000 ₸ (16% of 450 000)

- Cost write-off: Dr 7010 “Cost of goods sold” — Cr 1330 — 285 000 ₸

The balance of account 1330 at the end of September for this product = 95 000 ₸—exactly what the report shows in the “Closing balance” column. If the figures differ, look for unposted documents or manual adjustments.

5. Report “operation types” (presentation variants)

The report does not have “operation types” like a document, but it does have variants and groupings that provide different views:

- By warehouse—how much inventory is held in each warehouse (reconciliation with warehouse keepers).

- By item—movement of each item (identifying inventory mix-ups).

- By characteristics/serial numbers—if records are maintained by color/size/batch.

- Condensed total—closing balances only, without turnover (a quick snapshot of “what is stored and at what value”).

- Detailed to recorder—with a breakdown showing which document recorded the movement.

6. What is generated when working with the report

Important: the report does not post or create anything—neither accounting entries, nor e-Invoices, nor Goods Accompanying Notes. It only reads data. The source of the figures is the “Organizations’ Goods” accumulation register (movements in it are recorded by receipt, sale, transfer, and capitalization documents). Electronic documents (e-Invoices in the e-Invoice Information System, Goods Accompanying Notes) are generated by sale/receipt documents, not by this report. If an operation is visible in the report, the source document has been posted; if it is not, check that the primary document has been posted.

7. Print forms

The report does not have a separate standard print form—the report table itself is printed. The following options are available:

- Print (printer button or More → Print)—prints the generated statement.

- Save As—exports to Excel (.xlsx), PDF, Word, or an .mxl spreadsheet document.

- Send by Email—sends it as an attachment from 1C.

Configure the columns before printing: unnecessary breakdowns make the sheet excessively wide.

8. Common errors

“Required field ‘Period’ is not completed.” The report will not be generated. Set the period using the date selection button (a convenient option is “September 2026” through the standard period selector).

The balance is negative (shown in red). This indicates that an issue was posted before a receipt or the quantity fell below zero. The cause is a sale posted with a zero balance or an incorrect document sequence. Solution: repost the documents for the period (All Functions → Post Documents) and check the dates of the primary documents.

The report is empty even though the goods were definitely present. Check whether the correct organization is selected, whether the period is too narrow, and whether an unnecessary warehouse/item filter has been applied. A common cause is selecting the wrong warehouse.

The report amount does not match the trial balance for account 1330. This usually means there are unposted documents or a manual transaction that bypasses the “Organizations’ Goods” register. Run the Express Check and repost the documents for the period.

The figures changed after entering a backdated document. Under the average-cost method, the cost is recalculated for the entire month. Perform month-end closing / cost calculation, then generate the report again.

9. FAQ

Why does the report use “item prices” rather than selling prices?
It shows the accounting value of the goods (acquisition cost) so that warehouse records can be reconciled with the accounting balance of account 1330. View selling prices and revenue in sales reports.

How does it differ from the “Statement of Goods in Warehouses”?
This report provides a breakdown by organization and shows amounts (accounting value). The “Goods in Warehouses” report generally focuses on quantities and the warehouse breakdown. For reconciliation with accounting records, use the statement at item prices.

Is VAT included in the report amounts?
No. Goods are recorded excluding VAT. Input VAT of 16% is posted separately to account 1420 and is not included in the inventory value in account 1330.

Does the report generate accounting entries, e-Invoices, or Goods Accompanying Notes?
No. It is only a report. Accounting entries and electronic documents are generated by receipt and sale documents.

Why does the closing balance not match the actual inventory in the warehouse?
There are either unposted documents or an inventory mix-up/shortage that has not yet been recorded in 1C. Conduct a stocktaking and record the capitalization/write-off.

How can I see which document recorded a movement?
Add a grouping by recorder in the settings or double-click the row to open a drill-down to the document.

Can I display several warehouses and organizations at once?
Yes. Leave the filters blank to obtain a summary for all of them, or specify a list of the required values using multiple selection in the settings.

Why did the amounts change after a backdated document was entered?
Under the average-cost method, the cost is recalculated for the entire period. After making backdated changes, perform month-end closing and regenerate the report.

What currency are the amounts shown in?
Tenge (₸)—the statutory accounting currency. A separate currency column is not normally required.

Why is the balance red and negative?
Issues exceeded receipts as of the transaction date. Repost the documents in chronological order and check the dates of the primary documents.

10. Related documents

The report itself does not “enter anything based on” another document, but it relies on documents that populate the “Organizations’ Goods” register:

- Purchase of Goods and Services (receipt)—increases the balance (Dr 1330).

- Sale of Goods and Services—reduces the balance and writes off the cost (Cr 1330, Dr 7010); generates an e-Invoice and, where necessary, a Goods Accompanying Note.

- Transfer of Goods—moves the balance between warehouses.

- Capitalization / Write-off of Goods, Stocktaking—adjust the balance based on the recount results.

- Month-End Closing / Cost Calculation—refines the monetary valuation of balances.

Double-clicking a report row takes you to the specific source document—this is the quickest way to identify the cause of a discrepancy.
