Checked on release 3.0.74.2 "Accounting for Kazakhstan" (version 3.0).

You called the supplier, agreed on new prices, and scheduled a meeting in 1C through "Interactions." The supplier sent the protocol of agreement and a scanned contract via email — and you want these files to always be next to the meeting record, not in a personal folder on the disk. You open the meeting, click "Attached Files," and drag the PDF there. At this moment, 1C creates a record in the directory "MeetingAttachedFiles". You almost never open it "manually," but it is useful to understand what it is and where it is stored: it determines whether you will find the attachment in six months and whether it will be lost during the database export.

1. Purpose

Directory.MeetingAttachedFiles — a service directory for storing files attached to the "Meeting" object (subsystem "Interactions"/CRM). It contains not the actual contracts and acts as accounting documents, but their electronic copies: scans, PDFs, photos, emails. This is a technical mechanism for attached files in 1C, not an accounting document — it does not generate postings or tax movements.

2. Where to find

There is no direct item in the main menu for this directory — it is subordinate to the meeting. The standard path:

- Sales section (or "To Manager" → "Interactions") → "Meetings" → open the meeting → the "Attached Files" (paperclip) command on the meeting form.

- In the meeting form, attachments are also visible on the "Attached Files" tab/panel.

To open the list of all records in the directory directly (for administrator/search) — via the navigation link:

e1cib/list/Directory.MeetingAttachedFiles

Insert it into "Service and Settings" → "Go to navigation link" (or Ctrl+click on the link if supported). A complete list of all files attached to meetings across the database will open.

2a. How to know your release

"Help" → "About the program" (or the "i" icon / "Service and Settings" → "About the program"). In the opened window — platform version (for example, 8.3.24) and the line "Accounting for Kazakhstan, version 3.0 (3.0.74.2)". The first number is the platform, the second is the configuration release. All instructions below refer to release 3.0.74.2; in other builds, the location of buttons may differ.

3. How to fill

You usually do not create a separate card from this directory "from scratch." The file is added through the meeting form, and the directory is filled automatically. Key fields of the attached file card:

Field
Purpose / what happens in case of error

Name (mandatory)
The file name without the extension — you will search for it by this. If you leave the service "Document1," in a month you won't understand what is inside. Write essentially: "Supply Contract No. 14," "Scan of the reconciliation act."

Extension (mandatory, set automatically)
pdf, jpg, docx, etc. Determines which program will open the file. If you set it manually incorrectly — the file will open with the "wrong" application or not open at all.

Owner (mandatory, set automatically)
A link to a specific meeting. It is what "binds" the file. Do not change it manually — otherwise, the file will "detach" from the meeting and be lost from view.

File (data) (mandatory)
The actual file body. Stored either in the database (volumes) or in an external storage volume (if configured). An empty link = the record exists, but the file does not.

Author
Who uploaded it. Automatically filled with the current user — useful for understanding "who placed this."

Creation Date / Modification Date
Service dates. They show when the file appeared and when it was edited.

Size
In bytes. Large scans (tens of MB) inflate the database — for heavy attachments, enable storage in volumes on the disk.

Store versions (checkbox)
If enabled, an old version is saved with each file change. Convenient for contracts with edits; but accumulates volume.

Editing
Who currently "occupied" the file for editing (analog of locking). If another user is set, you will receive the file only for viewing.

Signed with EDS / Encrypted
Indicators that the file is signed with an electronic signature or encrypted. After signing, the file cannot be changed — the signature will be invalidated.

How to add a file in practice:

- Open the meeting.

- Click "Attached Files" (paperclip).

- "Add" → "File from disk" (or drag the file into the window / paste from the clipboard, or "Scan" for scanning from MFP).

- Check the name, if desired, enable "Store versions".

- Done — the record in the directory is created and linked to the meeting.

4. Analyzed example

Situation. On 07.09.2026, the manager held a meeting with LLP "Astana-Snab" regarding the supply of goods. As a result, the supplier sent a PDF scan of the contract and a photo of the signed price protocol. Both files need to be attached to the meeting.

Steps:

- Sales section → "Meetings" → meeting from 07.09.2026 with LLP "Astana-Snab."

- "Attached Files" → "Add" → select Contract_Astana-Snab.pdf (2.4 MB).

- Change the name to "Supply Contract No. 14 dated 07.09.2026." Enable "Store versions."

- Once again "Add" → photo Protocol_Prices.jpg (1.1 MB). Name it "Price Agreement Protocol."

What you get: two records in the directory MeetingAttachedFiles, both with owner = this meeting, author = your user, dates = 07.09.2026.

No postings. This is crucial: the contract amount (for example, supply for 1,160,000 ₸, including VAT 16% = 160,000 ₸, cost without VAT 1,000,000 ₸) does not enter the accounting through this directory. Accounting will occur later through separate documents:

Document (created separately)
Debit
Credit
Amount, ₸

Receipt of goods (goods)
1330
3310
1,000,000

Receipt of goods (VAT)
1420
3310
160,000

Sale (income)
1210
6010
1,000,000

Sale (VAT payable 16%)
1210
3130
160,000

Cost of goods sold
7010
1330
—

Files from the meeting are merely evidence for these operations. The directory itself does not move figures or VAT.

5. Types of operations

There are no separate "types of operations," as in documents, here. Functionally, the directory supports:

- Adding a file — from disk, from the clipboard, by dragging, scanning from MFP.

- Viewing / opening the file in an external application.

- Editing with versioning — "Edit" locks the file, "Finish editing" saves a new version.

- Storing and viewing versions — rollback to a previous version of the file.

- Signing with EDS / encryption (if cryptography is configured).

- Marking for deletion and deletion through the deletion processing.

6. What is formed when conducting

There is no conducting for the directory. When adding/changing a file:

- No accounting postings.

- No electronic documents (ESF in the ESF IS, SCT) — no. A scanned copy of the ESF can be attached here as a file, but the issuance of the ESF is done separately from the documents of sale/receipt.

- No movements in tax and accounting registers — no.

- A record of the directory is created and (if versions are enabled) a record in the version storage information register; the file body is placed in the database or in an external file storage volume (register/settings of volumes).

In other words, the only result is a reliably saved attachment linked to the meeting.

7. Printed forms

The directory has no own printed forms — there is nothing to print. Instead, actions with the file are available:

- Open — view in an external program.

- Save as... — export the file back to disk.

- Print the file itself using the application that opens it (Acrobat, Word, etc.).

- Send the file by email from the interactions form.

8. Common errors

"File is occupied for editing by user ..."
Someone clicked "Edit" and did not finish. Ask them to click "Finish editing" or the administrator releases the lock through "Release file" in the list of attached files.

"Maximum file size exceeded ..."
The limit from "Administration" → "File handling settings" (maximum size of the uploaded file) has been triggered. Increase the limit or compress/split the file.

"No volume specified for file storage" / file not saved to disk
Storage in volumes is enabled, but the volume is not created. In "Administration" → "File handling settings" → "File storage volumes" add a volume and specify an existing network/local path with write permissions.

"File modification is not possible: the file is signed with an electronic signature"
After signing with EDS, the file body cannot be edited — otherwise, the signature will become invalid. Remove the signature (if changes are needed) or add a new file version separately.

The file opened, but attachments are not visible after copying the database
If files were stored in an external volume, and the volume was not transferred, only the directory records will remain in the new database without data. Transfer the volume folder along with the database or store files in the information base itself.

9. FAQ

Does this directory generate postings or affect VAT?
No. This is a storage for attachments to the meeting. Postings, income, VAT at a rate of 16% are generated by separate documents (Receipt, Sale), not by it.

Can the directory be opened directly, without a meeting?
Yes, via the navigation link e1cib/list/Directory.MeetingAttachedFiles through "Go to navigation link." But this does not change the binding to the meeting.

Where are the files physically located — in the database or on the disk?
It depends on the settings. By default — inside the information database; when storage volumes are enabled — in an external folder on the disk/server. See "Administration" → "File handling settings."

How to return the previous version of the edited file?
If the "Store versions" checkbox was enabled, open the file card → version management command → select the desired version and make it active.

Can a scanned ESF or SCT be attached here?
A scanned copy — yes, as a regular file. But the issuance of the ESF in the ESF IS and the registration of the SCT are performed in the documents of sale/movement, not here.

What happens if a record is deleted from the directory?
The file will no longer be accessible from the meeting. Delete it through marking for deletion and processing "Deletion of marked objects," ensuring that the attachment is no longer needed.

Who can see other users' attached files?
Determined by access rights and RLS settings. Usually, a user sees the files of meetings they have access to; an administrator sees all.

Why did the file open only for viewing?
The file is occupied by another user for editing or you do not have permission to modify it. Wait for it to be released or contact the administrator.

Does storing files inflate the database?
Yes, if stored inside the information database. For heavy scans, enable storage volumes on the disk — the file bodies will leave the database, improving performance and reducing the size of the information database.

Can all meeting attachments be exported in bulk?
By default — one by one through "Save as...". Bulk export is done through processing/exporting volumes by the administrator.

10. Related documents

- Based on what it appears: the "Meeting" object (subsystem "Interactions") — the owner of each record. Without a meeting, the record is not created.

- Working nearby: other attached files of interactions ("IncomingLetterAttachedFiles," "PhoneCallAttachedFiles," etc.) — the same mechanics for letters and calls.

- What is entered based on the meeting results (separately, manually): Invoice, Receipt of goods and services, Sale of goods and services, Contract with the counterparty. The files attached to the meeting serve as evidence for them, but do not transfer data directly.

How to know your release
